Description
Bosch spark plugs
Fuel consumption and engine performance also depend on the spark plugs. For this reason, many leading car manufacturers rely on Bosch's development expertise when it comes to original equipment. Innovations from motorsport are also transferred, sometimes in modified form, to the production of spark plugs for production cars.
1. Angled ground electrode to improve combustion.
2. Large copper core for better heat dissipation.
3. Special ceramic material with high mechanical and electrical dielectric strength.
4. Special insulator design prevents sparking
5. Nickel-plated body with rolled threads protects against corrosion and cylinder head seizure
6. Ultra-thin center electrode design improves flammability and ensures longer service life.
7. Laser-welded precious metal pin on the center electrode ensures high wear resistance.
8. Different electrode materials for different fuels.
9. Oriented ground electrode ensures correct spark position and better ignition of the mixture.
Installation of workshop tips
1. Remove the spark plug from the packaging. Do not grease or oil the thread.
2. Screw the spark plug into the cylinder head by hand until it stops coming out.
3. Tighten the spark plug with a spark plug wrench. Adhere to the specified type-specific tightening torque, for example 23 Nm.
